Terms of Use (EULA)

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "EULA") carefully before using the Receiptly - Receipt Scanner mobile application ("App", "Service") operated by Evyasaf Mordechai ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

Receiptly is a receipt scanning and expense tracking application. The App allows you to:

  • Scan receipts using your device's camera
  • Extract receipt data using OCR and AI-powered text recognition
  • Organize, categorize, and manage expense records
  • Generate expense reports in PDF, CSV, and ZIP formats
  • Track spending analytics and budgets
  • Sync data across your devices via iCloud (optional)

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1. The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans: a Monthly subscription and a Yearly subscription.

3.2. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.

3.3. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

3.4. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally purchased.

3.5. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings in the App Store after purchase.

3.6. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.7. Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes in accordance with Apple's policies.

4. Free Trial

4.1. The App offers limited free functionality including a set number of receipt scans, reports, and other features.

4.2. Certain subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Not use the App for any fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Provide accurate information when using the App
  • Maintain the security of your device and data

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Evyasaf Mordechai and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

7. Data and Privacy

7.1. Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7.2. Receipt data is primarily stored locally on your device. When using OCR processing features, extracted text may be sent to our secure cloud servers for AI-powered data extraction.

7.3. You are solely responsible for the data you input into the App, including receipt images and financial information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

8.1. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8.2. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8.3. The AI-powered text extraction feature provides automated results and may not always be 100% accurate. You are responsible for verifying all extracted data.

8.4. The App is not intended to serve as professional accounting, tax, or financial advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EVYASAF MORDECHAI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

9.2. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evyasaf Mordechai from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

11.2. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

11.3. You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting the App from your device and canceling any active subscriptions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Third-Party Services

13.1. The App may use third-party services for functionality, including but not limited to:

  • Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchases
  • Apple iCloud/CloudKit — for optional data synchronization
  • Firebase — for analytics and cloud processing
  • OpenAI — for AI-powered text extraction

13.2. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

14.1. These Terms are between you and Evyasaf Mordechai, not Apple Inc. Evyasaf Mordechai is solely responsible for the App and its content.

14.2. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

14.3. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

14.4. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims.

14.5. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
